Marjetka Kürner Kalous is a founder of MKK studio concept which stands for custom fashion design, costume design and scenograph.
She has a master's degree in scenography and costume design from the famous Prague DAMU Academy and she finished her studies of industrial design at ALUO- Academy of fine arts and design in Ljubljana, but always upgraded her studies with fields of fashion and textile design. She also experienced the exchange studies of the same subject in Designskolen Kolding.
She works and creates in Prague for the past 15 years in various project from film industry, designing costumes for Netflix productons, to her own fashion brand MKK.
Her costumes and scenographies were part of many award-winning projects.
Since she devoted the majority of her time to creating clothes, she was encouraged by her friends to develop capsule collections under her brand MKK which stands for made to measure designes.
